Step by step with Shotivo

How to clean up screenshots on your iPhone

Offers, tickets, recipes: screenshots are easy to save and harder to sort later. Shotivo focuses on screenshots. It is not a general photo, video, RAM or phone cleaner.

  1. Allow access and finish the scan

Open Shotivo and allow access to your screenshots. With Limited Photos access, only the items you select are available. Wait for the initial scan to finish.

  2. Start with a small group

On the Clean tab, open today’s inbox, new screenshots or older screenshots. Wait for the preview before deciding what to mark for deletion.

  3. Keep or mark each screenshot

Swipe right to keep or left to mark for deletion. Swiping left does not immediately delete the image. If a recently edited screenshot needs extra confirmation, review the image before continuing.

  4. Review the selection and confirm

Check your marked screenshots in the final review and remove any mistakes. Complete Shotivo’s confirmation and the Apple Photos deletion prompt, then wait for the result.

If a screenshot will not open

It may be available only in iCloud. You can explicitly request that image using Shotivo’s iCloud loading option. An internet connection is needed; bulk analysis does not automatically download your entire iCloud library.

Why space may not appear immediately

Deleted items may remain in Apple Photos’ Recently Deleted album. Shotivo does not promise automatic undo, a specific storage saving or immediate free space. If you use iCloud Photos, deletion may also sync to other devices using the same library.

Protect important screenshots

Review the favorite and recently edited protection settings. Suggestions are not a substitute for your decision: always check the final selection.
